How The Process of Placement Works
Whether you are planning for the future, or need same-day placement, we will work with you to find the best in-home or long-term care solutions. We will begin with a phone consultation to help us better understand your unique situation as well as the time frame. From here we will develop a plan of action specific to your needs. This may include steps such as: an in person meeting with decision makers, an assessment of the loved ones medical needs, discussions with social workers and other medical professionals, and tours of communities.
Once we have found available options, we will either guide you on in-person tours or set-up tours for you and follow-up with you throughout the process. We can also set-up appointments for you with in-home care providers. Further, we work with all discharge planners to ensure the necessary paperwork is received by the community you chose.
In short, Elder Pros works as your full-service liaison from initial inquiry to move-in day, and at no cost to you.

Katie began working with seniors since 2009, beginning as a massage therapist and social companion. Her uncommon ability to connect with elders has enabled her to truly understand their day-to-day needs and the various challenges of losing one's independence.
